The next dog walking location that I would like to recommend is Glasgow Green!
Glasgow Green is situated within walking distance of the city centre making it the perfect place for those who live in the heart of Glasgow to take their dogs for some exercise. Not only is this park suitable for those who live here but it is also a relatively easy location for people who live in surrounding areas to visit.
There are a variety of different sights to see in Glasgow Green which include The People's Palace, The Nelson's Monument and The Commonwealth Games Logo sculpture all of which are worth seeing if you haven't been before. You also have the choice of walking down on the path along the river bank which adds even more enjoyment to the walk. The flat tarmac paths and big flat open spaces (perfect for throwing a ball) make Glasgow Green an amazing walk for your puppies.
Glasgow Green has the added extra of having off lead fenced areas for your mutts to be able to run wild and socialise with their furry friends without you having to worry about them and because socialising your puppy is vital this makes Glasgow Green a great place for owners to bring their new puppies to meet friends.
The walk that we took our dogs on was 2.7km and took us approximately 40 minuets which gave my two dogs plenty of time to run and sniff about the park. We parked across the road from Glasgow Green in the Glasgow Club Hockey Centre carpark which is free of charge.
If you are looking to turn your walk into a day trip there are picnic benches near The People's Palace where you can sit and enjoy a sandwich or two after a lovely stroll.
